Seguimos las vacaciones y días festivos del MEP.
El año académico costarricense va de mediados de noviembre a mediados de diciembre. The first semester normally starts in the second week of February. This semester ends by the end of June, followed by two weeks July-vacation (always the first two weeks of the month called “vacaciones del invierno”). The second semester picks up in the third week of July and goes until the middle of December.

También tenemos una semana de vacaciones en octubre (unas pequeñas vacaciones en temporada de lluvias).

La fecha oficial de inicio del nuevo curso escolar será anunciada por el MEP a finales de diciembre.
